Normand Boisvert
The Journal des arts et de la vie de Paris: "Normand Boisvert's work is extremely surprising. It is a swarm of sinuous forms with a pronounced spatial structure, colored with both vivid and soft tones. An intense life pulses within this amalgam of intertwined forms. This art is completely original and represents, with a masterful form, a remarkable formal clarity. This work combines the advantages of the figurative and the abstract."
An expressive treatment brings his works to life. Boisvert has received a grant from the Quebec Ministry of Cultural Affairs and has participated in several solo and group exhibitions across Canada and the United States, including an exhibition at the Maison du Québec in New York in 1984.
